Prof. Raymond Geuss (Pol. Phil/Cambridge) will give 2 talks on: “The Authority of Democracy and Human Rights” on Tuesday October 16 at 15:40 in C Bloc Aud. and on “Must Criticism be Constructive?” on Wed. October 17 in A 130. Both lectures are part of the Bilkent Seminar Series and both locations are in FEASS building.

Raymond Geuss is one of the leading contemporary political philosophers and scholar of 19th and 20th century continental philosophy. Here’s an interesting recent interview with him from the New York Times.

    • I certainly won’t be able to make it on Wednesday, but if I am able to attend, I can post a summary of his Tuesday talk. If I can get anything out of it, that is.
